Finally, in Xcode 9 we can deploy our app to iPhone, iPad without physically connecting our devices with cables. Read this if you want to know how to enable it, and it is pretty simple only.

Basically,

  1. Connect your device with cable
  2. In Xcode, β‡§βŒ˜2 to open Devices and Simulators window
  3. Check the “Connect via network” box
  4. Verify there’s a small “globe” icon shown on the right of your iPhone (for example)

One thing is that it requires you to have passcode set for your device to use wireless debugging, and I think I am one of those that don’t like to use “passcode” or “touch ID” πŸ˜…

Perhaps, once again, Apple will “force” me to drop my habit and set a passcode now…
